Research Findings
Dr. Allen worked with Dr. Rainbow and her team to explore how the use of cannabis in nurses may impact patient care. They found that while about 1 in 4 nurses reporting using cannabis, the vast majority only use cannabis after work. This suggests that cannabis use is not impacting patient care. You can learn more here.
|
Dr. Allen joined Dr. De La Rosa and her team to examine the mental health needs in adults with chronic pain. They saw that adults with chronic pain are more likely to have anxiety and/or depression symptoms that go untreated. Future work is needed to identify how to address this unmet healthcare need.
