Yvonne is currently a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate in the College of Public Health, in Maternal and Child Health. She obtained her Master of Public Health in 2014. Her interests include improving health equity for vulnerable populations, especially women and children. Yvonne has also worked as a pediatric occupational therapist for 20+ years in a variety of settings. As part of the RENEW Mom's Voice project, she is assisting with qualitative data collection, analysis and dissemination efforts. Yvonne enjoys playing soccer, and traveling to connect with friends and family.
