Yani Saferite

Yani is a Research Assistant who is currently a medical student at the University of Arizona. In medical school, she has been involved in CUP (Commitment to Underserved People) Clinics as both a volunteer and co-coordinator of the College of Medicine's Asylum Clinic. She has a strong interest in primary care and breaking down healthcare barriers in promotion of health equity. In her free time, Yani enjoys cooking and baking, hiking and running, playing music, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
