Stacey Tecot, PhD

Associate Professor, School of Anthropology

Stacey Tecot is a Biological Anthropologist and Director of the Laboratory for the Evolutionary Endocrinology of Primates, a training, research, and service lab at the University of Arizona. She conducts research on how individuals cope with social and ecological change, especially through behavioral and physiological responses. In particular, she is interested in the ways in which hormonal changes facilitate bonding and cooperation, from wild lemurs to pet dogs to people. Her interests lie at the nexus of theory, health and conservation.
