Abi Ilavarasan

Abi Ilavarasan is an MPH candidate at the University of Iowa in the department of Community and Behavioral Health. Abi got her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She is also a graduate research assistant working on how to implement interventions for caregivers of people with dementia and disaster preparedness for older adults. She manages the Twitter account for the University of Iowa Prevention Research Center for Rural Health and helps design the website. Abi is interested in working on health disparities research and maternal and child health.
