RENEW Team Internships can be used to earn credit for a variety of degree programs, including the Master's of Public Health internship, Master's of Science or medical school research rotations, and Undergraduate independent study credits. 



In addition, we have hosted interns from a selection of programs:
Step-Up Summer Research Program Upperclassman undergraduate and Master’s level students from diverse backgrounds participate in a paid, 12-week transformative research experience including individual immersion opportunities and guidance from members of Arizona’s National Cancer Institute Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
FRONTERA Summer Internship Provides undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities to prepare for graduate school, hands-on research experience, and an increased understanding of public health disparities in the U.S.-Mexico Border Region.
KEYS Summer Internship A unique summer opportunity for motivated Arizona high school students with a strong interest in bioscience, engineering, environmental health, data science and biostatistics to work with top University of Arizona faculty on research projects that address the world's greatest challenges.
BLAISER Summer Internship A cutting edge 10-week, undergraduate research experience that provides an extraordinary laboratory training opportunity, pairing the junior and senior level student-scholars with preeminent UA health sciences researchers.
PREP Internship Post-baccalaureate Research Education Program at the University of Arizona (PREP @ UAZ) seeks to provide American Indian/Alaskan Native students with a rigorous research and educational program that honors Indigenous perspectives and nurtures a strong sense of well-being and belonging, in preparation for matriculation into biomedical PhD programs.
NIH/NIDA Summer Research Internship The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Summer Research Internship Program introduces undergraduate students aged 18 years and older to the field of substance use and addiction. Students participate in research internships by working with leading NIDA scientists at universities across the United States for eight weeks during the summer.…
